Never forgot try it, upon receiving shaft I found it was not what I had ordered. I ordered.a 3/8x10 , 12.9 mm shaft. And what I receive was.a uni-loc 11.8 mm shaft. Your company said they had an issue with mislabeling shafts. And they didn’t trust sending me out a replacement shift in that same model so they were gonna upgrade me to another shaft. But I actually only wanted this shaft as I liked the ferrule design and color. Then upon receiving the replacement shaft. I got a 12.9 what I had ordered but it’s the wrong thread design also. It’s must been mislabeled as I sent pictures in an email as it is marked 12.9 x 10. But it will not fit any of my Cues.. so I took it to a cue repairman and found it to be threaded for a 3/8x8 which in US we call a Radial pin or thread. And I do not have any.cues like that. So this replacement chef is absolutely useless to me also. At this point, I would just like a refund and I will send a shaft back. I am just so dissatisfied with everything

Carbon fiber at budget price

This is a great shaft. I noticed a big improvement in my ball striking immediately. The only knock I have is the tip. It's not horrible. I'm just used to playing kumui tips. I don't think you can go wrong with this shaft.

Easy to Assemble; Straight, Evenly Weighted and Accurate.

I didn't know this brand, but this pool cue worked great. I am an intermediate player. I like that you could get this in different sizes. The weight was well balanced and I though the price was good for the value delivered. Importantly, the pool stick is straight and true. It also has a nice, sleek, appearance. I have only had it for a bit, but quality seems very good, so I expect it to hold up over time.

Helped my Shots

Good solid hitting shaft/tip. The cue doesn't fit standard thread like stated so it took me a bit of looking to find a suitable base. I thought it would fit the one I had given the info provided but it was not the case so be careful and make sure thread sizing and thickness is a match. Also pay attention to the collar component. Even with a semi fit base it performed well and shot straight with nice control. The quality& accuracy is most definitely good.

5 out of 5 starsSmooth upgrade for better cue control

Picked this up after getting more serious about my shots and it's been a solid upgrade. The low deflection is noticeable right away. Shots feel more predictable, especially when adding spin, which has helped tighten up consistency during longer games.

It's lightweight but still feels solid in hand. The finish is smooth and the tip holds chalk well without constant rework. Took a few racks to get used to the feel, but now it's hard to go back to a standard shaft.

Overall, 5 stars because it improves control, feels high quality, and makes a big difference if you're trying to level up your game.

Honest no bs review from an APA player

Have a 1992 meucci that has the original wooden shaft, 13mm tip…wanted to see what all the fuss about carbon fiber was… didnt wanna spend an arm and a leg, but also wanted something specific, i wanted a to try a 10.5mm tip, which is the smallest a pool tip goes. Obviously snooker cues can go smaller but, i wanted to see if there was any inherent difference not only between a wooden shaft and carbon shaft but a 13mm tip vs 10.5mm tip… only had it 48 hours or so but im loving it so far! its like going from using a large sharpie to using a ball point pen. Granite its gonna humble me/ take some time to hone in my accuracy, but i can definitely tell a difference in how carbon hits vs wooden… carbon seems to naturally send the cue ball further… like, if you were to hit a typical routine shot at a 3 out of 5 on the power scale, then with a carbon cue you’d wanna hit it at a 2 out of 5 power scale wise.. and the draws/ follows seem to be alot stronger/ easier too.. cue ball is absolutely flying around.. in a good way… i gotta hone in my speed and accuracy but this thing is a true professionals cue in my opinion. took slightly longer than our typical amazon order does to ship/ come in but if this was 20 years ago i wouldnt even flinch, were just all getting alittle spoiled. Also, the shaft is slightly lighter than the typical shaft, now my cue is about 18.5 ounces.. which is fine/ i dont mind.. just something to mention in the review yanno… overall these cue’s are legit… My meucci butt is all black so it goes perfectly with the carbon.. like a total stealth/ blackout/ simple classy look.

Hoping This Turns My Son Into a Pool Shark (Just Kidding… Mostly!)

I got this carbon cue shaft for my son in the hopeful spirit that he might one day become a pool shark and feed the whole family—just kidding, of course, but this shaft really does feel like the kind of upgrade that could inspire some serious skill. The build quality is impressive, with a smooth, consistent finish and a solid feel that gives every shot a cleaner, more controlled stroke.

The low?deflection design is where it really shines. Whether you choose the 10.5mm, 11.8mm, 12.4mm, 12.5mm, or 12.9mm tip, the shaft delivers excellent accuracy and responsiveness. It glides beautifully, stays straight, and feels incredibly stable during play. My son noticed the difference immediately—better cue ball control, less squirt, and a more confident overall hit.

Overall, this is a fantastic performance upgrade for any player, whether they’re already good or just getting serious about the game. Durable, smooth, and built for precision—exactly what you want in a high?quality carbon shaft. Who knows… maybe the pool?shark dream isn’t so far?fetched after all!

Pool Cue

This pool cue has a nice balanced feel when playing. The carbon shaft is smooth and glides easily during shots. I noticed that it feels more stable than some older wooden cues I have used. The tip holds chalk well and the cue provides good control for both soft and harder shots. It also looks clean and modern without being flashy. After several games it still looks and performs the same with no signs of warping or loosening. For casual games or regular practice it has been a solid cue to use.

HIGH QUALITY LOW DEFLECTION CUE UPGRADE

After having this Uni Loc shaft on my pool table for a few sessions, the low deflection performance is immediately noticeable. The carbon fiber construction is high quality and offers a level of consistency that wood shafts just can't match.

?? The pro taper feels intuitive in the hand and provides a smooth glide thru every stroke.

?? I appreciate the 10 layered tip which is robust and seems to hold chalk much better then the standard tips I've used.

?? The carbon fiber material is top tier and makes the shaft feel virtually unusable for warping or environmental damage.

?? It’s a clever design that offers a professional feel and true value for anyone looking to upgrade their existing cue setup.

IS IT WORTH IT?

This is a first rate shaft that delivers a sophisticated playing experience and impressive durability. It is a well designed piece of equipment that provides real world results on the table.

'When making choices for my family, I approach products with a careful eye, prioritizing practical quality and true value that delivers real world results.'

I will update this review if anything changes within 1 year.

Worth every penny

I can truthfully say it's worth every penny. I used this cue for the first time in a tournament game and it played exceptionally well.

Best shaft you will ever buy for $110

Absolutely fantastic shaft. I recently purchased a $400 Mcdermott Defy shaft and hated it within a week. For just $110 this shaft outdoes the mcdermott in every way. The mcdermott is a fully hollow shaft which made it extremely flexible and very high deflection, in addition to feeling very ’mushy’ and soft on contact. This shaft feels is foam filled and extremely solid on contact, my shot making percentage has gone up 10fold since using it. I normally replace tips with any new shaft I get, but the tip this shaft comes with feels incredible! It seems like it’s on the harder side of medium tip, chalk applies extremely well and smooth, and I am very pleased it comes with an extra tip. I will definitely be putting that one on again when the first one gets worn down. The post mentions the ferrule being made of phenolic material, but up close it almost looks like kevlar, which is pretty cool. The texture of this carbon feels amazing on my bridge hand; the smoothest sliding shaft I have ever tried. I’m currently pairing it with a $500 Lucasi handle and it is by far my favorite cue setup I have ever used. It looks like the company that makes this shaft also owns Rhino, Evo, and a couple other brands. I have heard a few bad opinions on Rhino shaft/cues but this one is incredible and I will absolutely buy again if I ever run into any issues with it.

Unbelievably light

This uni-log carbon cue shaft is incredibly light. It almost feels weightless in your hand. As it is only the shaft, you need to make sure that you have either a bottom cue that fits, or you have a full cue with a shaft you would like to swap out. The shaft supports a uni-loc fit but is also threaded. It is sleek. The carbon gray is matte and has a glossy logo on the base.

Impressive pool cue.

I've been playing league and casual bar pool for years, and this Blkcueshark 5/16-14 carbon shaft honestly impressed me. For the price point, it performs way above expectations.
The shaft is straight, well finished, and has a very smooth stroke. The carbon fiber construction really helps reduce deflection compared to my older maple shaft, which immediately improved my accuracy, especially on longer shots and English. The hit feels solid without being too stiff, and there's no annoying vibration on contact.
The 5/16-14 joint fit perfectly on my cue butt, with no wobble at all. Balance feels good in hand, and it glides smoothly through the bridge, even without a glove. It also stays clean and doesn't require the constant maintenance that wood shafts do.
If you're curious about carbon fiber but don't want to spend $300-$500 on a big name brand, this is a fantastic alternative. Great value, solid performance, and I'd absolutely buy it again.
Highly recommended for both league players and serious casual players.

Very nice texture and quality

Never used a carbon fiber pool cue before but it is very nice to the touch. Both matte and smooth at the same time. Quality level seems high and I like it comes with a replacement tip. The look of this is very nice. The logo is minimal but with reflective ink and looks really cool. Very nice cue!
